This is simply a beautiful fossil. It is a museum quality fossil Stingray from Wyoming. The Stingray is Heliobatis radians, one of the most sought-after fossils found in the Green River Formation. This particular specimen is a male, as it still has the mating graspers preserved. The Stingray has great color and striking detail, and it contrasts beautifully with the buff-colored matrix. The Ray is almost perfectly centered on the rectangular matrix plate. This is a stunning example of a rare Stingray fossil that can not only be be part of your fossil collection, but also proudly displayed in your home or office! (Display stand is included for free.)
