Here is a large specimen of Priscacara serrata from the Eocene of Wyoming. This fossil fish has very nice orangish-brown color and contrasts wonderfully with the cream-colored matrix. The fish has great bone structure and excellent fin detail, especially on the large dorsal fin. The large fin rays are all intact and beautifully displayed. The fish is almost perfectly centered on the large rectangular plate of matrix. This is a very displayable example of one of the most desired fossil fish among collectors.
