Here is a wonderful specimen of Lycoptera davidi from the Jurassic of China. This specimen is large and exhibits superb detail - the bone structure is extremely well defined, and the head and fins are nicely displayed. The brown color of the fish is totally natural and contrasts beautifully with the orange and tan matrix. The fossil is well showcased on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a fine example of this Jurassic fish from China.
