This is a very uncommon specimen of Lycoptera davidi from the Jurassic of China. There are two fossil fish on the slab - both fish are well preserved and exhibit great detail. The bone structure is clearly defined, and the fins are easily seen. The fossils have very good color and contrast and are beautifully displayed in an interesting pose - one is outstretched and one is curved. This is a fine plate of two fossil fish from the time of the dinosaurs.
