Here is a wonderful specimen of Lycoptera davidi from the Jurassic of China. This specimen is large and exhibits superb detail - the bone structure is extremely well defined, and the head and fins are nicely displayed. The dark-brown color of the fish is totally natural and contrasts beautifully with the tan, off-white matrix. The fossil is well showcased on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a fine example of this Jurassic fish from China.
