This is a nice Cretaceous fossil association from Lebanon. It is a plate with five unidentified fish preserved. Due to political unrest, fossils from this site are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. The most of the fish are well preserved and exhibits fine detail.  The fish have great color and are wonderfully spaced on the large, semi-squarde plate of sublithographic limestone. This is an extremely unusual example of five fossil fish of two different types from the Middle East.
