This is a very displayable fossil fish. It is a Knightia eocaena from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. This fossil fish is nicely articulated and exhibits great detail - the bone structure is clearly defined, and the fins are easily seen. Even the scale pattern of the fish is preserved.
