Here is an unusual framed fish. It is an uncommon Amphiplaga bracyptera from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. Only a few examples of this type of fish are found each year. This fish fossil has been professionally framed for optimal display. The fish is very detailed, with the bone structure very easily seen. The fish has character and is well showcased on the naturally striped plate of shale that also contains a partial fish skeleton on the right side. This is an aesthetic display specimen of an uncommon fossil fish - great for your home or office, or as a unique gift for a fisherman or the person who has everything.
