There are four (three complete) Knightia eocaena on the plate. All of the fish exhibit nice detail. The bone structure is well displayed and the fins are easily seen. The orangish-brown color of the fossils is totally natural, and the contrast with the cream-colored matrix is outstanding. The fish are naturally positioned on the large plate of shale. This is an affordable multiple plate of fossil fish from the Green River Formation.
