This is an extremely rare fossil. It is a beautiful Stingray and Crocodile coprolite specimen from Lincoln County, Wyoming. This is a killer male Heliobatis radians, one of the most sought-after fossils found in the Green River Formation. The Ray has great color, and it contrasts beautifully with the buff-colored matrix. The Stingray has excellent detail - the barbs along the tail, the male mating graspers, and the long ''stingers'' are all intact and well preserved! The large Ray is well showcased on the rectangular matrix plate that also contains a HUGE Crocodile coprolite (fossil poop)! The Ray is laying on top of the Croc turd - you can see the rays of the Stingray fluke flowing over the poop! This is an extremely collectible example of a rare stingray and Crocodile excrement association fossil that is a must for any advanced fossil collection.
