This is a very displayable multiple plate of fossil fish from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It is interesting that there are three different types of fish preserved - two Knightia, two Diplomystus, and one Mioplosus. The fossils exhibit fine detail - the eye sockets are easily seen, and the bone structure of the fish is quite evident. The fins and tails are also nicely intact. The fossils have excellent color and contrast and are naturally scattered about the large matrix plate. This is a very fine grouping of five fossil fish on one plate.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
