Here is a gorgeous example of a rare fossil fish in a frame. It is an excellent Eohiodon falcatus from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. This very rare predatory fish fossil has been professionally framed for optimal display. The fish is extremely detailed - the backbone is easily seen, and even the large teeth in the mouth are well-preserved! The fish is almost perfectly centered on the cream-colored block of shale. This is a beautiful display specimen of a rare framed fossil fish - great for your home or office, or as a unique gift for the person who has everything. This is one of the best examples of this type we have ever had, period.
