Here is an unusual multiple plate of fossil fish from China. These are Lycoptera davidi from the Upper Jurassic. There are two complete fish on the plate, one large and one smaller. These colorful fish exhibit extremely fine detail. The bone structure is well preserved, and the bodies of the fish are easily seen. The dark fish contrast very nicely with the light tan matrix. This is a very good multiple example of Jurassic fish from China.
