This is a beautiful specimen of Priscacara serrata from the Eocene of Wyoming. The large fossil fish has natural orange color and contrasts beautifully with the cream-colored matrix. The fish has great bone structure and excellent fin detail, especially on the large dorsal fin. The fish is well showcased on the large, natural plate of matrix. This is a very displayable example of this classic fossil fish from the Green River Formation.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
