This is an excellent Cretaceous fish fossil from Lebanon. It is a plate with two Sedenhorstia fish preserved. Due to political unrest, fossils from this site are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. The large Sedenhorstia are very well preserved and exhibit great detail. The heads, fins, and tails of the fish are clearly defined. The fossils have great orange color and are wonderfully spaced on the rectangular plate of sublithographic limestone. This is an extremely displayable double example of Sedenhorstia from the Middle East.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
