This is a very unusual framed fossil fish. It is a Knightia eocaena and a large coprolite (poop) from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. This fossil fish is nicely articulated and exhibits great detail - the fins and tail are clearly defined, and the eye socket is easily seen. The fish has great color and contrast and is well centered on the plate of matrix that also contains a large coprolite. This fish plate has been professionally framed for optimal display. This is an extremely uncommon specimen of a framed fossil fish with poop. Great for your home or office, or as a unique gift for a fisherman or the person who has everything.
