This is a HUGE specimen of Prionolepis cataphractus from the Cretaceous of Lebanon. Fossils from this region have become increasingly difficult to obtain due to political unrest. This fish is gigantic - well over a foot long! The fish has very nice color and detail, but the real collectible feature of this fish is its massive size. This is a great specimen of an extremely large fossil fish from Lebanon.
