This is a great example of a rare Paleozoic fish. It is an intact Rhadinicthys alberti from New Brunswick, Canada. This paleoniscid (ray-finned) fish is complete and nicely displayed. The scales are preserved (rare), and the fins and tail are well preserved. This is one of the best specimens of this type we have seen. And the fact that it is Mississippian in age makes it all that much more collectible. It is a wonderful example of this extremely unusual Carboniferous fish from New Brunswick.
