Here is an unusual framed fish. It is an uncommon Phareodus testis from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. Only a few examples of this type of fish are found each year. This fish fossil has been professionally framed for optimal display. The fish is very detailed, with the bone structure very easily seen. The fish is not perfectly centered in the frame, which gives it character. This is an aesthetic display specimen of an uncommon fossil fish - great for your home or office, or as a unique gift for the person who has everything.
