This is an excellent example of a Cretaceous fish. It is a fabulous Davidicthys sp. from Lebanon. Fossils from this region have become increasingly difficult to obtain due to political unrest. This specimen has wonderful form and excellent detail - the bones, fins, and tail display beautifully. The sleek fish is nicely centered on the semi-rectangulat plate of limestone. But, best of all, this fish is a split pair, and both halves are offered together. This is a beautiful example of a part/counterpart Davidicthys fish from Lebanon.
