This is one of the best Priscacara serrata fossils we have ever had. The fossil fish, Priscacara, is very sought-after because of its recognizable look - similar to a modern-day Bluegill or Crappie. The fins on this specimen display incredibly well. The fine bone structure is very detailed, and the color and contrast are simply striking. This extremely large fish (almost 8 inches long) was preserved with the mouth open and the eye socket easily seen - what more could you ask for? This is an amazing specimen of this classic fossil fish - worthy of any private collection or museum display. Don't let this fish be ''the one that got away''!
