This is an excellent fossil fish from the Cretacous of Brazil. This fish is complete and wonderfully articulated. The detail of this torpedo-shaped fish is just exquisite! The bone structure is clearly defined, and the fins are wonderfully displayed. The natural, dark brown color of the fish contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The fossil is nicely positioned on the hand-chipped plate of limestone. This is a great specimen of this unusual fish from South America.
