Here is a very nice fossil fish from the Cretaceous of Brazil. The fish looks like a large Dastilbe, but it may be a different genus. The fish is complete and very nicely articulated. The fossil exhibits excellent detail. The bone structure is very good. The fins are well defined. The fish has excellent color and contrast. It is well centered on the matrix plate. This is one of the larger specimens of this particular fish that we have seen. This is a very good fossil fish from Brazil.
