Here is a very nice fossil fish from the Cretaceous of Brazil. This large, unidentified fish is nicely articulated. The bone structure is clearly defined and the fins are nicely displayed. The fossil has great, dark brown color and contrasts wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. It is well presented on the large, hand-chipped plate of shale. This is a very interesting fossil fish from South America.
