Here is an interesting plate of fossil fish from China. These are Lycoptera sp. from the Upper Jurassic. These colorful fish exhibit very fine detail. The bone structure is well preserved and the fins of the fish are easily seen. The orange fish contrast very nicely with the tan matrix. This is a very good example of Jurassic fish from China.
