This is an unusual fish fossil. It is a large Ceratodus tooth from Morocco. Ceratodus was a large lungfish that lived in the Cretaceous seas. This tooth is complete and very detailed. The enamel is nicely preserved and still retains the unusual pattern on the grinding surface. The root is also in great condition. This is a very fine tooth from a 65 million year old lungfish.
