This is a beautiful fossil fish. It is an excellent Mioplosus labracoides from Wyoming. This specimen is complete and has all the small fins intact. The small teeth are even preserved on this specimen. The fish is nicely centered on the octagonal matrix plate. This is simply a wonderful display fossil of a large Green River fish.
