This is a beautiful fossil fish. It is an undescribed fish from the Keichousaur site in China. This specimen is large (seven inches long!) and has incredible detail. All of the scales are preserved (rare), and the fins and tail are nearly perfect. This is one of the best specimens of this type we have ever seen. And the fact that it is Triassic in age makes it all that much more collectible. This is a very displayable example of this unusual fossil fish.
