This is a gorgeous double fish plate from the Green River Shale. The fish at the top of the plate is Diplomystus dentatus. The fish at the bottom of the slab is Mioplosus labracoides. Both fish have excellent detail. The bone structure and fins are superbly preserved. The fish have wonderful color and contrast. They are well centered on a 7.6" X 9.7" slab of shale. This is a very aesthetic display slab of fossil fish from Wyoming.
