This is a very interesting plate of fossil fish from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. The plate contains three complete specimens of Knightia humilis. All three of these fish exhibit very nice detail. They have good color and contrast. Also, in the background is a larger, partial fossil fish. This is Phareodus testis, a predatory fish from the Green River deposits. The fish are well presented on a rounded 7.6" X 9.4" plate of matrix. This is a fine display specimen of fossil fish from the Eocene (display stand is included for free).
