This is an excellent stingray fossil. It is a complete Heliobatis from Wyoming. This specimen is a male, having the sexual "graspers" preserved. The barbs that run the length of the tail are intact and the "stinger spines" are well preserved. The crusher teeth are even fossilized on this specimen. And the overall lay of the stingray is elegant and beautiful. This is a top quality Heliobatis radians stingray fossil.
