This is an excellent fossil stingray. It is a Heliobatis from Wyoming. This specimen is a female, because it lacks the "graspers" the male uses for mating. The ray has great detail and the coloring is beautiful. The sting barbs are intact and display well. This is a top-quality stingray fossil.
