This is a fabulous example of a rare fossil fish from the Cretacous of Morocco. This unidentified (undescribed?) fish is fully complete and wonderfully articulated. The detail of this strange fish is just exquisite! The bone structure is clearly defined, and the LONG fins and tail are beautifully preserved and perfectly displayed. The natural color of the fish is quite striking, and the original scale pattern is even intact! The fish is very well centered on the very large plate of limestone. This is an extremely collectible and displayable specimen of this very unusual fish from Africa.
