This is a great split pair fossil. It is a very nice Unidentified Fossil Fish from Brazil. This specimen was acquired from the famous Chance Collection. This fossil is quite large - almost a foot long! The fish was fossilized in a concretion, which preserves detail very well. The head, body, fins, tail, and even the scales are preserved! And the concretion has been split in half to expose the fish in both sides - two fossils for the price of one! This is a very collectible and beautifully preserved split pair fossil fish from South America. (Comes with Dr. Chance's original reference photo and ID notes.)
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
