Formation: Fish Layers
Size: Fish is 1.6 inches long
This is a fine fossil fish from the Cretacous of Morocco. This fish is complete and wonderfully articulated. The detail of this disc-shaped fish is quite nice. The bone structure is clearly defined, and the fins and tail are wonderfully displayed. The natural, dark brown color of the fish contrasts well with the light-colored matrix. The fossil is nicely showcased on the large plate of limestone. This is an affordable specimen of this unusual fish from Africa.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
