This is a very nice multiple specimen of Lycoptera davidi from the Jurassic of China. There are two fossil fish on the slab - both fish are well preserved and exhibit great detail. The bone structure is clearly defined, and the fins are easily seen. The fossils have great natural color and contrast and are beautifully displayed in an interesting pose - swimming in different directions. This is a fine plate of fossil fish from the time of the dinosaurs.
