This is a large fossil fish. It is a complete Mioplosus labracoides from Wyoming. This specimen has nice overall shape, and has the head, body, and tail intact. The jaws are filled with many sharp teeth. The fish is nicely showcased on the semi-rectangular matrix plate. This is a nice, large example of a predatory Green River fish.
