This is a fabulous fossil fish from the Cretacous of Morocco. This unidentified (undescribed?) fish is complete and wonderfully articulated. The detail of this strange fish is just exquisite! The bone structure is clearly defined, and the LONG fins and tail are wonderfully displayed. The black color of the fish is caused by the cool dentrites that outline the fish - quite striking! The fish is naturally showcased on the very large plate of limestone that also contains two small black fish on the left side of the plate. This is an extremely displayable specimen of this very unusual fish from Africa.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
